I find it trashy, sorry.
I *love* Regina and Georgina though. I also like it prononced with a "g" like in "gold".

I like it, because it's the name of a dear friend of ours. Her name is Georgina Michele, but she's called Gina by most everybody.I like Gina as a full name on a Japanese child (it means "silvery"), but otherwise I prefer it as a nn for Georgina / Giorgina, Regina, or Luigina.Miranda

It's ok. I like it because it's recognizable but not overly common. But it always brings to mind a saucy, mouthy Italian woman. LOL This is despite the fact that I have a good friend named Gina, short for Regina, that is shy & quiet with blonde hair. :)

I love the name Gina!! I've thought about using it as a nickname for Evangelina although it is a little bit of a stretch.

My cousin's name is GinaShe's 18, and personally, I don't think the name fits her. Gina seems too cutesy/ babyish. I've never been fond of it.

It used to be my favourite name when I was a child, one of my dolls was named Gina, and I still like it, even if it's no longer a favourite. I imagine a friendly, smart and funny girl.Eva

I think it's ok, especially this spelling. Not too fond of Jeanna, Geena, etc. It also works well as a nn for Regina, imo. :-)
