I love the nickname "Jenn".
That said, which do you prefer: Genevieve "Genn" or Jenna "Jenn"?
Can you think of any other "Jen-" names?

Genevieve, hands down-Jenna, like Jennifer, has become pretty common. I think Genevieve would be just fine on its own, no nn, because of the trouble of saying "no, with a G, not a J"

Jenna is one of my favorite names. Genevieve is very nice too but I prefer Jenna.

Jenna is really over-used. I don't know if it is in Germany. Jennifer is another Jen name, but again in the US its over-used. I haven't met a single new Jennifer!

Means that the name reached its peak, and is now becoming dated. Jenna is always becoming dated.

I like Genevieve over Jenna every time!

I much prefer Genevieve. Jenna isn't awful but it's one of those names that strikes me as going to be very dated 15 and 20 years from now.
I do like Jennifer how ever and with the nn Jenny. Jennifer is dated yes but I still think it's a great name and I honestly don't know that many Jennifers. I only about 3.
There's also Ginevra "Gin" and Virginia "Gin". Or Geneva "Gen".

Genevieve, because it's more classical and solid; it'll age better in the long run than Jenna imo.
