[Opinions] Juliet.
Is the Romeo & Juliet association too much?
What do you think?
Middle name suggestions? Looking for a one-syl name that is a little more unusual than Anne or Rose or Grace- IE, Juliet Eve.

I always think of the play, but I don't think there's any reason why you couldn't use. It's a lovely name. I would use Juliet Blythe.
I think it's lovely and doesn't have to be associated with Romeo. I also love Juliette.
Juliet Eve is a very pretty name (Eve is my favorite female name).
I like it. Many years ago I used to babysit for a little girl named Juliet and I thought it was very pretty.
I love Juliet...it is on my short list.
Juliet Claire
Juliet Maeve
Juliet Blythe
not 1-syllable but nice:
Juliet Maire
Juliet Sofia
Juliet Ivy
Juliet Caroline
Juliet Catherine

I have heard this name too much on the boards I visit. I think it is too much of an association. Would you name your son Romeo? I dont think so. Juliet is an ugly name to me, it has no appeal, and the play, which I am not fond of completely, is an even bigger turn off. I guess if people really like it, a middle name would work, but not a first.
I love Juliet!!! I don't think it's too much R&J...in fact, one of my favourite names is Romeu (Catalan form of Romeo, pron. ROO-meoo ("me" like "m" backwards?) or something similar, I can't explain it well enough), I could really name my son this (even if everybody'd think I'm crazy). Juliet is just lovely.
I like Juliet Eve and Juliet Mair
Eva

I prefer it as a middle name.

I like Juliet Greer and Juliet Nell the best.

No, the R&J thing is definitely not too much.
I like Juliet .. tons.
Juliet Eve is great.
Juliet Lynn ...... not very unusual but nice
Juliet May .. well, it does sound good.
The only others I can think of which could work: Blythe, Lee, Drew, Star, Fern, Lise, Maude, Nell, Jay? I like Maude, but most people probably don't.

I don't think the association is too much- it's definitely there, but the name is used enough in other places for it to be overpowering.
Juliet Eve is very pretty... some others:
Juliet May
Juliet Belle
Juliet Pearl
Juliet Hope
Juliet Maeve
Juliet Liv
Juliet Ruth
Juliet Kate
Juliet Cate
Juliet May is probably my favourite, but I think May might (unfortunately) have the potential to become another Rose or Grace as far as mns go...
Also, this is a little off-topic, but my brother was going to be Juliet Rose if he was a girl (he's Jesse Tyler now, and was born ten years ago).
