[Games] Re: Make a family, Part 6

Salutations, family!
Moving might have been a godsend for us; a month ago, everything was falling apart, particularly for Len. We're situated in a different county, though, and while it was hard for the children to leave behind their friends, the schools' environments seem healthier here. I'm rather glad that we've moved into such a big house. Pelly has space to do his drawings, and all the kids have their own rooms.
Len's is outfitted like a bigger version of his old room. I think he's a bit sorry to leave our old house; otherwise, he wouldn't have the blue carpet and blue paint, I don't think. I'm helping him to cover the walls in all his posters. The framed one of John Lennon is going over his bed, which is still--you guessed it--blue.
Jannie's room is green and bright. I made sure she had windows that would have a lot of light, since she loves the outdoors so well. We'll be giving her a small windowbox garden for Christmas, and until then, she's got a potted fern to live by her bed. Its name is Jingle.
Rennie has a violet room, and she's insisted on being allowed to paint a flower on the wall. Of course, that means her sisters want to each paint a flower on their walls, too, but that's not too bad a request; they're young, after all. She's got the bookshelves that were in the room the triplets used to share. We'll split the books up properly eventually, but until then, they'll have to live in Rennie's room.
Sharon's got a blue room, too. I think she's got a case of hero-worship for Len. Unfortunately, he's at the age where he can't consider that cool, but I don't think he'll be heartless towards her. Len is too good for things like that. He helped her draw a big picture of our family to hang on her wall--and he made sure they drew in John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Sharon Osborne, and Renee Zellweger, even though only Janis Joplin and John Lennon were namesakes for the kids!
We've also acquired a garden snake in the move. It's Len's, and he's decided to name it Emily Spinach. Apparently, Alice Roosevelt had a snake named Emily Spinach, and he liked the name--I don't know where he picks up this sort of trivia!
Much love to all of you--come visit us soon!
