Help[Opinions] Tenley
I am really loving Tenley right now but it does bother me that it is made up to some extent. I know there was a figure skater or gymnast i can't remember which with this name but that doesn't make it real. Do you know of any names that are similar to Tenley but have a real meaning? anything with that sort of sound will do. thanks!

I don't like Tenley.
It seems quite trendy, especially for a girl. Plus, I grew up near the Tenley Town Metro Station, so that's all I hear.

I think of Tenleytown, which is a local neighborhood without all that much interesting about it.

Several good resturants.....and that's pretty much it. :-) Its nice, though, that the old Sears/Hechingers building has been replaced.

All over Northwest, and then around the rest when I feel like getting out. I don't recall the Sears building off the top of my head... but then again, my memory for picturing places is on the far side of awful. (Except in the case of the truely hideous. I'm thinking FBI building here.)

So I'm in MD. Old Town Gaithersburg. I grew up within three blocks of Tenley Town, though. ANd I work near there.
I actually prefer Maryland, though. You don't have the protests, or the traffic from the protests.

Yeah, I spend a lot of time in Northern VA (used to live in McLean and then Lorton.) Far more peaceful, but in Lorton you used to get the prison siren and a few rednecks.
PS: I sometimes find the protests amusing. Especially the LaRouchies. Only when I'm not in a hurry, though.

Tenley Albright was (I think) the 1956 Olympic Gold Medalist in figure skating.
I met a woman named Tenley who was actually related somehow to T. Albright. She was a client at the vet clinic where I worked.
It's quite a suitable name imo.
