[Opinions] Gaston
Would Gaston be okay in the United States or is it too Beauty and the Beast to be used? I know it's been ten years or more since the movie came out. Thanks!

I like it but would never use it because of Disney. However i have met people with Disney names and I don't ever think of them as being too disney. Like Ariel, Eric Fiona. Go for it if you like it!

All I think of is Beauty and the Beast's Gaston, which is not a great namesake. BTW I love that movie.

Gaston has two associations with me. The first is Beauty and the Beast. The second is it always looks like a combination of piston and gasket to me.

I met a guy (about 28) named Gaston. I thought it's quite suitable - although, he was from France. - chazda

Gaston is extremely outdated in my country, but I don't know about in America...

I'm sorry, I just can't get the song from Beauty and the Beast out of my head when I think about that name.

Well, Beauty and the Beast is the first thing I thought of. I personally wouldn't use it for that reason.-Seda*

I think it would be a great name to be teased with because of the 'gas' in it. I personally don't like it.

I didn't think of Beauty and the Beast until you mentioned it. Regardless, I don't care for it. The gas part of it may be a problem.

Gaston...is too much of a Cartoon name. Ala Kermit and Caspar. It just has that aura about it. I'm sorry!Siri
