[Facts] Corinthos
I was wondering if anybody could tell me whether the surname Corinthos is Italian or hispanic in origin? This is a name of a character on television so I don't know if it's a real or made up name. Thanks in advance if anybody can help me out.
By the way, is this a web site that is supposed to only deal with first name or are the discussion of last name permitted?

I think that our friendly neighborhood Greek (Pavlos, aka Oh, Greek One) might find this particular surname in his backyard, but I may be jumping to conclusions here.
Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Our friendly neighborhood Greek has been away on a mini-vacation in the snowy mountains of Arcadia, but I think he should be back by tomorrow. :)

Well Corinth (Korinthos) is a city (formerly city-state) in central Greece known for its plush quasi-gaudy aesthetics. The name itself is derived from "Kore" meaning "daughter,maiden,and/or courtesan" (female couterpart of "Kouros")
