What do you think of the name Theodora? This is my teachers name and she's greek? She goes by Teddy.

I love Theodora. It's regal-sounding and yet not intimidating. If I used it for a daughter, though I'd call her either Teddy or Theo too :-)

I like it, though its not a special favorite, and also Dorothea which somehow sounds slightly more femine to me. The nn Thea or Dora is lovely.

Yes, she was a Byzantine empress. I like the name, especially spelled Teodora. It was the name of my great grandmother, and she went by Dora or Dori.

The other possible nns, Teo and Tea are also nice.
