Does anyone happen to know if it has meaning? I've heard it was Scandinavian, but I believe that's pronounced "KER-stin", and mine is "KYEER-stin". Or maybe I'm dismally confused. But does anyone know?

The Swedish name
Kerstin
[CHESH-tin] was originally a nn for
Kristina
. Kyrsten is simply a variant! :)

It could also be (more likely imo) . . .
A variant of
Kirsten
/
Kirstin
, the Scottish forms of
Christine
.
:-)
edit: typo in subject line
