I like it. I had always thought it was pr. lee-la but then again, I have never known anyone with the name. My dh's g-gm was named Lelia. Pretty too. Leila Sofia is gorgeous.

Prefer the spelling Layla. That's really the only spelling I love. I think Layla Annabelle makes a pretty combo.

I like the name but no one seems to agree how to pronounce it. I pronounce it lay-la but I've heard people call it lie-la, lee-la, lee-ie-la. For simplicity's sake I prefer the spelling Layla although I don't like the look of Layla. I like all your combos except Leila Annabel. I don't care for the two vowels in a row.

I pronounce Leila as LEE-lah, and I prefer this pronunciation, though I know others are acceptable as well. I don't care for the Layla pronunciation, not sure why.I do like Lila, but only spelled this way.

I don't care for the name, because I think it looks awkward, and could, possibly, have many pronunciations, which would cause confusion and problems for the child. Looking at it, I would pronounce the name as Lee-luh, because a girl I know (19-years-old) pronounced it that way. I know a girl (also 19-years-old) who pronounces her name as Lay-luh, and she spells it as Layla, the spelling I would prefer for that pronunciation, but I still don't care for it. From your middle names, I like Sophia (that spelling only) and Annabelle (that spelling only). Nonetheless, I think Leila Frances flows the best.

Is it pron. LIE-la? If so, I prefer the spelling Lila or Lilah, but Leila is nice too. I like Leila Annabel the best.
