[Opinions] Alida
WDYT of the name Alida? Here it says it's Hungarian, but it's actually an old Italian name. It's pronounced AH-LEE-DA.

I think it's very pretty. I knew a girl named Alida several years ago...I thought her parents must have made it up or something at the time, but I thought it was pretty anyways. Then I found out it was a real name, and I liked it even more :-)

I don't care for it; it reminds me of the shoe brand Adida. Sorry.

Makes me think of Elida... A shampoo brand we have here in Denmark, so whenever I'd see Alida, I'd think of shampoo.Sorry. :-)- Charlie

I think that Alida sounds okay. I personally prefer Alina. The D does make it sound a little harsher than Alina, and I think that that is unappealing to me. Names with the letter "d" in them tend to do that to me for some reason.
