[Facts] Ketsia
I saw this name on a painting and tried to google it, but only found entries of women named Ketsia. Does anyone know what it means or its ethnic origin?

So my name is Ketsia, in my research (on the net of course) I found
1. Second child of job -bible
2. From Cassia a tree and cinnamon- bible
3. From "Africa" the favorite
4. Possibly French and Finnish origin.

Clearly it is unique
I love my name as an adult. Had to learn to love it

I agree with Miranda.Other ideas: a female variation of Ketzel, a Yiddish name meaning "little cat", or of Ketsel, "servant of G-d". There's also Ketzel, a variation of Getzel, the Yiddish form of Gottfried.I've also seen Katse / Ketse, a Yiddish nn for Kate.Claire

Thank you! Now I feel rather stupid not realizing that :). I thought it might be a variant of Keturah, but I wasn't sure, and like I said, Google wasn't promising. Thanks for those links!

You're welcome, but...It was Miss Claire who pointed me towards Hebrew Letters. I should've credited her before.Miranda
