[Opinions] Vinny and Vinnie
I know someone named Vincent (and Vincent is on my top name list), and he, himself, is not consistent when writing his nickname: Vinny and Vinnie, as he sometimes writes Vinny, and other times he writes Vinnie. Once in a while, he goes by Vin or Vince, but it's usually Vinny / Vinnie. I usually write it as Vinny. I'm curious as to how you write Vinny / Vinnie.Edit: Spelling.

I write Vinnie, although I prefer Vincent without the nicknames.

I had a friend that did the same thing. Her name was Jennifer, and she continually switched between Jen, Jennie, and Jenny, and would actually get upset with me if I used the wrong one. So I eventually made up my own, I'd call her Jenna-six, or Jenna-three, or sometimes just Jenna-four, rediculous, I know, but fun! :)I think I like the nn Vince the best, but I would probably write it Vinny.Vinnie looks to feminine to me and reminds me of Winnie.

I like Vinnie better. In general, I like -ie endings better than -y endings. Tally's one of the only exceptions, along with Sally. Otherwise, I like Ellie, Jennie, Bettie, Georgie, Lennie, etc.Array
