in England i can see Fern becoming popular. i thought of using it but decided against it for this reason. We have a gorgeous young presenter called Fearne Cotton to inspire the younger crowds of under 30's and a middle aged daytime presenter called Fern Britton who everybody loves to inspire the older ones. It depends on how popular is too popular for you, but the Usage of Fern is definately on the increase. i love the name though.
