Help[Opinions] Nirvana
This was the name of a 1 yr old girl on the show "Moving up" on The Learning Channel. The parents were rock and roll so to speak with leather furiture and leopard printed curtians. The baby was named after their favorite band Nirvana. Now,I like Nirvana as a name for a band but not for a little girl. WDYT?

If they really wanted to honour Nirvana (which I wouldn't--they're a decent band, but they're incredibly overhyped and not one of my favourites), they should've named the girl something nice and subtle--Frances, perhaps. Polly.
Not Nirvana.
Or else, they should've gone with Nirvana as a middle name. I couldn't care less what people do with middle names; because they don't get used much at all, I don't see why there should be any restrictions on them.
