I like Amara better, though neither are my style. Amara is more feminine sounding.

Amara (ah-mah-rah to me) is very pretty, Amaris (ah-mah-rees) is more unusual.

I don't care for either name, as they aren't pretty to me. Anyway, I choose Amara.
