[Opinions] wdyt of Sage
I like Sage, even though it's unisex, as a short mn with an unmistakably feminine first name. Some combos I like:
Arianna Sage
Juliet Sage
Miranda Sage
wdyt? any others? thanks

I just think of it as a hippy name

I like it - we actually considered it briefly for Tobias. Sage, to me, is masculine whereas Saige feels more feminine... even though they sound exactly the same, for some reason the spelling makes a big difference to the way I view it! LOL

I think Sage is cool. I know a woman named Sage who is a beadmaker and a very interesting person.
I especially like the idea, like you said, of having it as a mn paired with a nice classic, fem. fn.

I like it as a female middle name too. And the world can always use more one-syllable middle names! I think of the sage-brush that grows in my favorite place, the Sierra Nevada Mtns in California. I'm not quite the type to use that name, though.
I don't care for Sage for either gender. It's not feminine or masuline. It's also a noun, and, therefore, not a name to me. Sage takes away from the beauty of the names Arianna, Juliette (that spelling only), and Miranda.

It's trashy and tacky imo. It's also too feminine for a boy, and too masculine for a girl...

I like it. Arianna Sage is lovely.
I think it is beautiful. It sounds gorgeous with all three of those names-great taste!
I like Sage. I had a friend when I was little named Sage (girl). But I think I prefer it on a boy as a first name but as a middle name I can see it going either way.
I like Arianna Sage and Miranda Sage. Miranda Sage being my favorite. Sorry I don't like the flow of Juliet Sage.

Frylock: Shake wait. The Highlander was just a movie.
Master Shake: No, Frylock, The Highlander was a documentary, and events happened in real time.

Juliet Sage and Miranda Sage are nice. I don't care for Sage much, though. It's too "spice-y" for me, lol. But as a mn, with a feminine fn (like you pointed out), it works imo.
I met a little girl once named Sage Isabella. Her parents decided on her name because one of them is a Sagitarius (SA-) and the other is a Gemini (-GE). I thought that was stupid, but to each his own, I guess. :b

I know a girl named Saige. Her brother is a River. :) I think it's a fine name.
Arianna Sage works best of those three, I think. You've got the right pattern going; no one will mistake Miranda Sage for a boy (or for a girl with trendoid parents!).
I like these with it, personally: Sybilla Sage, Lucinda Sage, Arabella Sage, Eleanor Sage, Clarissa Sage...
I like the repeating S. S and L sounds are two of my favourites.
