Perhaps Taleesha is a form of Talisha, which is a form of
Talitha
.
Talitha
is Aramaic meaning "little girl." Just a thought.

I've heard that Taleesha is a form of Taleisha, which is an American composition of names beginning with Ta- and the Arabic name
Aisha
(which means "life")
