Help[Opinions] It's a medieval Germanic name (m)

It's composed of the elements hlud "famous" and hild "battle", so it means "famous battle". It's already in the database under Clothilde, and variants in the database are Clotilda (English) and Klotild (Hungarian).
Clothilde (475-545) was the daughter of King Chilperic of Burgundy; she then became the wife of the important Frankish king Clovis, and the mother of Clovis's three sons. She converted Clovis to Christianity, and subsequently became a saint after her death.
As for the name itself, I like it if it's for a character. But today I think the Clot- beginning makes it vulnerable to teasing, and moreover I just can't picture it on a baby today (although I can picture it on a medieval baby).
