[Facts] Amzi?
Amzi (AM-zie) is a male name that was in use in the 1700s in N. America, and perhaps elsewhere. I found it listed on an unreliable baby name site as a Biblical name meaning "strong, mighty". Can anyone back this up?

Hmm, that pronunciation is interesting. I'd only ever seen it written until a few days ago, and I assumed the pronunciation AM-zee. But apparently (at least in New England) it was pronounced AM-zai/AM-zie...whatever the phonetics, you get the picture.
