[Opinions] note: Agata pronounciation.
This website states:
Agata: Pronounced: ah-GAH-tah
Agatha: Pronounced: AG-a-tha
AGATA:
As a child I lived in both Poland and Spain where my name is pronounced ah-GAH-tah OR AG-a-tah (not stated on this website). ah-GAH-tah sounds much more appealing in those languages. In English ah-GAH-tah ends up being ah-GAH-da. I, like every other Agata I know (in an English speaking country), pronouce it as AG-a-tah. ie: Like Agatha without the h. Same "da" ending problem with Marta, etc. where the last "ta" ends up being "da."
Just a note and food for thought.
