I'm no Polish/Slavic authority, but judging from one search that I did ...every name came up centered in the Chicago area, I'd bet it's an Anglicized form of a Polish/Slavic name.
The "Ch" at the beginning is contrived (in my opinion). I'm not sure of all the Slavic beginnings, but any that have the "Ch-" sound plus the "inow" and maybe "ski" may lead you to your answer ...
