I joined a group on my campus a while back and there is a girl named Celmarie. I was just wondering what you people thought of it.

It was a little odd for me at first, but I kind of like it.

I didn't think of celery until I saw Kai's post. lol But the "cel" jumps out at me and makes me think of a jail cell. :(

It's nms, but I do like the Marie part. Something like Celeste Marie is a lot better imo. I knew a girl named Ces-Marie (she pronouced Ces like the beginning of Cecily). I thought it was a pretty name.

It sounds too much like Celery to me. Marie is nice though.

I quite like it - it's a bit unusual but it works for me. (But then, I like the name Glenmarie, which *no-one* else likes!)
