[Opinions] Tangerine?
I'm not quite sure, but I love the word Tangerine and always thought it would make a nice name for a daughter. Although I don't like how the word "anger" is in it, and if she hated it I suppose I could call her Ann, or Annie. Thoughts?

sounds too much like a fruit but you do have a point about the anger thing...you should just call her annie or something like that...sorry about the criticism
I love this! It's been my little pleasure- imagining having a little girl Angie. And when people say, "Oh... she's an angel- that's surely why you named her Angela, right?" And I can proudly say, "Oh no, Angie is short for Tangerine." I guess it's a bit odd... but I am an odd person.

It's oaky. There's a nice Led Zeppeline song called Tangerine, and if your daughter grew up to be a Charlie Kaufmann fan she'd be in for a treat... I like Tangy better than Ann or Angie as a nn, and I can see Geri working, too.

I'll have to go against everyone else here. I love it. ^ ^

if you have to use it, you could get away with it as a mn, but as a fn it would be hard to live with. however Tanna could be a nn if you choose to use it.
hmmm nmsaa I like some word names but Tangerine just sounds daft to me, sorry. Pet yes, daughter no. Evy
I personally don't like word-names. But Angie seems like the obvious nn to me.
Maybe for a pet. Not for a kid.
I think it is an awesome name for a goldfish, maybe not daughter. Ann is kinda boring.
eew no way. I do like nature / word names but Tangerine just screams orange to me. Clementine is similar in fruitness but not as obviously.

That reminds me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The woman's name was Clementine but her nn was Tangerine.
