[Opinions] Mikenzy? (Funny story and opinions)
I take Theater as one of my classes. The teacher (Ms. Davies) is qualified to teach both Theater and English. Today we were writing skits. She asked us to fill out a worksheet about our character's personality, looks, likes/dislikes, etc. The first question was "What is your character's name?" She filled out the sheet too, and put it on the overhead. For the name question, she used Mikenzy. (Instead of McKenzie.) I dislike McKenzie in the first place- this is murdering the name!
Have you ever heard of this spelling? And what do you think of it?

Eek! It's awful!
No, I've never seen this spelling. But I'm glad I didn't, until now!
I like Mackenzie or McKenzie, but only on a boy since it means "son of Kenneth". (Ditto with McKenna, although McKenna admittedly sounds more feminine than Mackenzie / McKenzie because of the -a ending.)

Mikenzy wouldn't surprise me. I see Mykenzi often enough.
