[Opinions] Eurania
My grandmother's name was Sara Eurania. Have you ever heard of Eurania before? I believe it was the first name of another of my ancestors. What do you think of it? (Its pronounced 'yur-RAIN-ee-uh.')

Urania, or more properly Ourania (Urania's the Latinised version of the Greek), was one of the nine muses. She was the muse of astronomy and astrology, and her name meant "heavenly".Eurania's probably a version of Ourania, possibly combined with the Greek eu "good".I don't really like it, sorry.

I believe that Urania was one of the nine muses. She was the muse of astronomy and astrology, but check it out -- I could be wrong here.It seems likely that this is a variant of your grandmother's name.
