I met a little girl the other day, she was called Aslana. Had never heard it before, have you? I think her father was from Nigeria, but I'm not 100% sure.
Reminds me of Aslan in Narnia books. I also know a boy from Kazahstan who's called Aslan.

never heard of that, but I read about a little girl named Aslynn in a Reader's Digest article (she was born with a life threatening illness). Her parents reworked the name Aslan from Narnia books into Aslynn.

I think it is quite familiar looking for an African name as quite a few people from there have names ending with -lan or -lana (female)

Any name starting with Ass would unfortunately be problematic!

I know of a girl whose real name was Aisling, and people called her Azlin.
