I like Mair or Maire but on it's own, Mairwen (and most wen names) remind me of LOTR which I don't really like unofortunatly

I really like it pronounced "Myre-win", but I see a lot of people mispronouncing it. I prefer just Mair, on its own, as a middle name though :-)

It's excellent! Very pretty! It doesn't need a nn, but Mair is good if you really want one. (A nickname, that is.) Just make sure no one tries to call her Wendy. Ugh.
