[Opinions] Tayton?
Do you like the name? How would you spell it? Girl or boy?
Thanks!
Thanks!

1. No. The "Tay" sound seems sort of lightweight to me. Not horribly, but that's just my reaction to the sound of it. I wouldn't be repelled by it if I met a guy named that, though; it's nice enough. The pronunciation is a little problematic for me -- the middle T becomes either a D sound or a stop in my accent, usually a stop, giving it a choppy, tough sound.
2. Taton or Tatun. (The Y is unnecessary and looks "trendy" to me)
3. Boy. See my reply to someone else about Carrington for why:

Hiya,
I've never heard of Tayton, and I don't like it much. It sounds like a mispronounced Peyton / Payton.
It also reminds me of a little girl I used to babysit, who couldn't pr. my name, which is Caitlin, so
she said Tayton, pr. Tay-tin.
What about Treyton / Treyton? I can't remember where I heard that, but it was a little boy, and I think
it's alright.

I'd prefer girl. Don't care for the name though, it's trendy sounding.
