I've never taken a shine to the name. But I do like seeing names come back into style and I'm glad you've found something that you like. Mns include:

Nothing too "out there." Something known and familiar.
Could I interest you in the Latin origin of Roy, Rex? Both mean "king." Or perhaps Rory? Then again, I love seeing "old man" names like Al and Frank on little kids. I find the juxtaposition very appealing. So, maybe the world needs a few Roys. :-)
