[Opinions] Maraka...
The name of a woman I met a few days ago. I don't think that I like this name at all.

Sounds like she'd rattle if you shook her. (The name sounds like maraca!)Array

Maraka? Like "maraca"? Hmmm. I don't think I like the sound OR the association.

It seems too harsh imo. It also reminds me of maracas.

I can't say that I like it either, considering that's it's just the name of an instrument misspelt. Some instruments names (like Viola) are acceptable in my book, but I think Maraca -- as it is properly spelt -- is pretty bad.

I don't care for it. The over abundance of a's and the strength of the k really make it harsh sounding. I think of the word maracas.

Yeah, my first thought was of maracas.Marika would've been nice. Could it be derived from that? A pet form of Mara, maybe...Shannon
