A boy was in the newspaper today about 15 yrs old his fn name was Thunder. I never heard this name before on a person.

I knew a female Thunderand it fit her beautifully. Her real name was Burmese, Thandar, I think. However, she was called Thunder. :-) I much prefer Thora, though. For a boy... no idea.Siri

I think it's a little silly. I do like Perun which is Slavic for thunder!

I've considered it, but I like Thor better which means Thunder and is a myth God.

He'll join other weather related names, like Storm, Rain, and Winter. And, other earthy names like Lake, Stone, and Leaf. It just in't a name to me, and I cannot see a human being named Thunder.

No that's not a name for a person at all But I've known a boy named Duran(like the band) and girls named Story Skye,and Stormy Gayle
