Elsie's very, very uncommon nowadays anyway. I don't think it needs to be "uniquefied" by altering it's spelling.Elsie's also the name of my grandmother's next-door neighbour, and arguably her best friend. Elsie must be in her 70s too, though I've never asked her age.
