[Opinions] Waverley
I don't see this being liked at all lol, but thought I might as well put it out there anyways ;-)
WDYTO Waverley for a girl? Actually it's the name of a boat my granddad used to take us on day trips on. That's not why I'd use it, but it's where the idea came from. Along the lines of Kimberley and Beverley (neither of which I like), I thought it could work as a girls' name.

I like it. It's the name of one of the daughters in the Joy Luck Club.
I kinda like it and I love that it's from your grand-dad's boat.
I really dislike it, sorry. Makes me think of oatmeal for some reason.

I actually like it! I never liked Kimberley or Beverley....but Waverly is cute!
Reminds me of the fabric.
Ditto. It's a fabric brand to me.
It's nmsaa and sounds like a surname to me, sorry.

I don't like it, it reminds me of Edinburgh Waverley and that station scares me. That aside it's not my style of name for a girl at all.

I don't really like the sound of it, but I do have a certain weakness for pretty much all the names from The Princess Bride. Waverly is Westley and Buttercup's daughter, and so that's what I think of first. (There's also a Waverly in one of Amy Tan's books, but I can't for the life of me think of which one.)
I don't think it sounds pretty, though. Reminds me of Wemberly, actually--Wemberly Worried is a Kevin Henkes children's book. In all, though, it's not that bad.

Oooh I love it!
I don't like it either for a girl or boy, as to me it would imply "one who wavers" or is indecisive.
As a middle name maybe, since it has family significance.
