My bank teller today, a woman, was named Yaia, pronounced as Yay-ah, like Maia, but without the M. It sounded like someone was saying yeah to her, but then when they repeated her name, I heard it.

I was thinking Ya-Ya, like the Sandra Bullock movie. lol But it's actually like someone down here in the South saying a two-syllable "yeah". :b Ugh.

I prefer Yaya, like that model in "American Top Model" or something.
