[Opinions] Clovina
I was looking at my family tree, and I came across an interesting name: Clovina. She was either my great grandmother or great-great grandmother. The name is not my style, but I thought I would throw it out there. It seems like there are a lot of writers who are part of this board, and I thought it would make a good character name (especially for an aristocratic character or older woman).

It's definitely interesting! Reminds me of cloves of garlic though ;-)_____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

I like it too! It's too out there for me as a RL name, but it could suit the right character nicely. It sounds cool to me.As for the meaning, I'd wager it was a fem. form of Clovis.

First time I've heard that name. Here's another, Dolina. She was one of my father's many sisters, and died as a young child. She had always been called"Dolly", and I supposed it was short for Dorothy. But no.
the other sisters were-Isabelle, Kathryn, Anne, Margaret, Louisa.
