Dear Mom and Dad,
It's been five years since we adopted Elijah and Jamie. Elijah is going to the community college. He is studying to be a biologist. Matt, Judy, Becca, and Jamie are in high school. Deirdre will be in high school next year. Gina, Irena, Liam, and Bryan are in sixth grade. Sapphire is in second grade. Loki and I got an interesting surprise a few months ago. Becca, who has become rather testy, confided to Judy that she was pregnant. Judy came and told me. Becca was furious with Judy at first, but she was very glad to have Loki and I there when her daughter was born. Brytta Mychele Vincent is our first grandchild. She is adorable, and spoiled by all the kids. I thought you'd like to know that you are now great-grandparents!
