[Opinions] Re: Berthe

I adore the name, but only if pronounced the French way, as you have it. It reminds me of 19th century characters ina novel, living in garrets and falling in love with Eugene ("oo-ZHEN"), Honore' ("on-or-AY") or Auguste ("aw-GOOST").
Combinations:
Berthe Clemence
Berthe Therese ("tehr-EZ")
Berthe Marguerite
Berthe Germaine ("zhehr-MEN")
Berthe Honorine
Berthe Lucienne
Berthe Josephine
Berthe Manon (for that extra garret-y feeling)
Berthe Clothilde
Berthe Mathilde
Berthe Pascale
Berthe Martine
Berthe Amelie
Berthe Hortense (it's not every day that I get to use lovely "or-TAHNS")
Berthe Colombe
Berthe Louise
Berthe Eugenie
Berthe Ursule (I have a thing for bears if you didn't notice)
Berthe Eulalie
Berthe Aurore / Aurora
Berthe Sebastienne
Berthe Agathe
Berthe Victorine
Berthe Alphonsine
Berthe Henriette / Henrietta
Berthe Wilhelmine
I'm on record as saying that if i had a dd tomorrow she would be Niamh. I'm so obsessively in love with the name that she's threatened to get a restraining order. :-)
Caoimhe is new to me through these boards. It's gorgeous. Love it. Beibhinn is lovely too, if I'm pronouncing it correctly, "BEV-in." Is that right?
