Dad and Mom,
This family of ours keeps growing and adding to the family tree, not that any of us are complaining since we love the new additions. It is hard to keep track of the kids, their partners and their kids at times but we do manager. It is going to be hard to fit everbody at the table come the holidays though.
Two weeks ago Malachy and his girlfriend went to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday and came back married and with matching tattoos. I don't know if the news of them getting married or getting tattoos was more surprising. You rememeber his girlfriend, Allora. She's the pretty black haired girl from Australia who is two years older then him. They've been living together since last spring.
And Connor and Hannah celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this month and got a late anniversary gift that arrived a week later. You guessed it, their baby was born. You are now the great grandparents to Scarlett Natasha. Oh, she is the sweetest little thing with her blonde hair and button nose!
The rest of the kids are doing great. No more signs of engagements, babies or weddings yet, but you never know. Andrew is recieving high marks in his college classes and making the dean's list once again. We are so proud of him. He has been offered the chance to study in England for a semister and he is thinking about it. We are encouraging him to follow his dreams and go for it.
I've got to run. There are some things at the coffee shop that need my attention and afterwards everybody is going out to dinner.
Oh, and, Dad, stay away from the alligators on the golf course. I hope your fingers are feeling better. Maybe next time you won't try to rescue your golf ball when it lands near a nest of gator eggs.
