I know a baby named Hewitt. Or actually he's about 3 by now. And my own childhood teddy bear is named Teddy Bear Hewitt, because he was a gift from some friends with the last name Hewitt.
I like Hewitt ok as a fn, though it is extremely surnamey and that's not a trendy I care for much. I like this one as much as many of the other surnames-as-first-names that are in vogue though.
I don't like Hughett at all. But I also don't like Hugh.
