[Opinions] Cecile?
Cecile (sa-SEEL) is the French form of Cecilia, and it was my grandmother's name. I've always preferred Cecilia, which is weird, because I tend to like French forms better (Therese better than Teresa, Marie better than Mary, Jeanette better than Janet, but i do like Helen and Helene equally, but more than Helena!), but I find that Cecile is growing on me a little bit.
Thoughts? Opinions?- Clara W.

I like Cecile.

I prefer Cecile to Cecelia (too fiddly). However, said quickly Cecile can often sound like Cecil, which is horrific. I would probably only use Cecile as a middle name which is infrequently said.

Gorgeous. I love it!Cecilia is nice too, but, if there's one thing wrong with it, it's too long. sa-SEEL-e-ah. Yeah, too fiddly for me.

I pronounce it sa-SEEL-ya, so to me, it's just as long as say, Amelia.

There's definitely something appealing about Cecile for me. I still prefer Cecilia, personally, but Cecile is a lovely name as well. It sounds very classy and feminine imo. Nice! :-)
