[Opinions] How do you pronounce Thea?
The title says it all. And out of THEE-a and Tay-uh which do you prefer?

I've heard it pronounced as THEE-ah more often, but I've also heard it as TAY-ah (there's a Canadian actress named Thea Gill who prn. her name this way). But the TAY-ah prn. is a little more confusing to me. I think the THEE-ah prn. is more straightforward and I actually prefer the sound anyway.

THEE-a :)I do like Tay-uh but I prefer the sp. Tea or Taya.

THEE-a. TAY-ah would never occur to me unless I knew the girl was German. TAY-ah is very pretty but if I used it, I'd spell it Téa, as in Téa Leoni.

Tay-ahBut for me it's entirely a matter of preference, not a matter of how my native language interprets it.I prefer Theodora as 'Teodora' and Theda as 'Teda,' it follows a bit naturally that I'd go with Tay-ah over Thee-a.

I prefer THEE-a, so that's how I pronounce it.

I actually thought it was THAY at first glance! Next would be THEE-a

THEE-ah. TAY-ah is Téa. I prefer TAY-ah, but it's totally illogical to me for the spelling Thea.

Thee-a. It would seriously never occur to me to ever pronounce Thea as tay-uh. Tea on the other hand, I would. Or Taya. But not Thea.I like Thea, its a lovely name :)

The Dutch way would be TAY-ah, and I prefer it taht way, so TAY-uh would be closest to that.
