[Opinions] Violet and August
do they work for a girl/boy twins? Does the same ending bother you?

They are lovely... I don't think you should worry about the double t endings.
I think they're fine for twins, if a bit word-namey. I'm so glad you're using August on a boy!
I LOVE both, and I think they'd be fine for twins, though a little word-namey for my tastes. They both end in -t but that's doesn't qualify as a 'similar ending' in my book, so no it doesn't bother me. :)
I didn't notice the same ending, acutally. To me it's "-et" and "-ust" not just "-t." They make an adorable twinset.
The most definitely work for boy/girl twins. They are a stunning set, that's for sure!
It doesn't bother me at all - I don't love themey twinsets, but if they names are similar it makes no difference to me. If I had twins, I would just use two names that I loved - damned if they sounded a little bit 'twinny' to someone! :-) I think they are both lovely names, and they sound really nice together (actually, on that note, I sat next to a little girl on the bus this morning whose name (it was written on her drink bottle!) was Augusta - Violet and Augusta would make very pretty sister names, IMO.)
Sure they do--why wouldn't they? And no, the fact that both end in T doesn't phase me. My sister and I both have names ending in EE sounds, and somehow we've survived.
