It's been coming up a lot here lately. I don't really care one way or the other about it, myself. Word names are all right by me, but as far as birds go, nightingales have never had any significance to me. I don't even know what they look like. So I'd never choose it over a bird that might have significance to me--Dove, Wren, Crow, Chickadee, Hawk, etc.
