Gosh, I'm actually a bit surprised that they allowed Buffy as an official name in Sweden!Sheldon is also interesting. I know that Sweden, like Germany, has a law that prevents surnames from being turned into given names. But a Swedish poster on a baby name board told me a few years ago that surnames turned into given names in English speaking countries, like Sheldon, are often allowed. This seems contradictory to me. :)I wonder if Anderson would be allowed as a given name in Sweden now, since it is regularly used as a given name both in the USA and Brazil.
