My husband Barrett and I met on the set of a short-lived cable drama - honestly, the show was terrible, but it was my first real job. He grew up in Beverly Hills, as both of his parents were screenwriters, and he's been around the industry his entire life. I grew up in Tennessee, but dreamt of becoming an actress ever since the first time my father took me to the movie theater when I was a young girl.
Barrett is now a star on a hit television sitcom (think: the new Friends), and I've had roles in two independent films which were critically-acclaimed, but not huge commercial successes. However, I do have an audition for a part in Zach Braff's latest film, so hopefully that will go well!
