We, the Morrison/Dawson family, would like to present to you the newest member of our family, our son, Maddox Slade Morrison.
Maddox was born on June 5th at 5:21am at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is 7lbs, 8oz, and 22 inches. He looks exactly like his father, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Even though I have this wonderful new joy in my life, my work is still very important to me. For the past few months, there has been a role in a movie that I and another actress have been eyeing. This is a great role and would be one of my best works yet; however, I have decided to pass it up because I would like to take time to relax and spend some time with my son! =)
Also, the media has been going crazy and has been expecting this baby ever since Jude & I have gotten together. They followed me throughout my entire pregnancy, and I must say they have more pictures of me than I do! Of course, I have been getting offers to do magazine covers, and I have decided to accept People Magazines offer. Jude, Maddox, and I will be on the cover next month and will have a 5 page layout. I have requested than acclaimed photographer, Annie Leibovitz, take the pictures. She will also be taking some for our photo personal album. Also, since the craze over my baby has been so big, the layout editor of the magazine said they plan to title the article "Mad about Maddox". Oh geez!
