[Opinions] Aella & Esen

I'm too stuck on "the quest for Hippolyta's (magic) girdle" to comment on the names. What a strange thing for a myth to be about. . . .
I want a magic girdle too.

Esen sounds like perfume to me -- maybe the similarity with the sound of "essence". No matter, it's not my thing. I could like it for someone else, though.
Aella is very pretty, but with how popular Ella is, I'd never use it. People won't know its roots (or prn), and I'd be sad if it were confused for a creative spelling of Ella. I say it like AY-la.

I only like Aella, which is pronounced AY-ella (AY as in bay), or I-ella.
The math professor at my university who is Turkish isn't in right now for me to ask, but I am sure that Esen would NOT be "ee-sen" in Turkish. It probably is "eh-sen", though it might be "ay-sen" (first syllable rhyming with English "say"). I'll try to find out for sure tomorrow.
