[Opinions] Why is it a good thing namewise to be in the UK?
in reply to a message by Isla
You've got me wondering now! I move to Canada on April 11, is that a good thing namewise? Lol.And yes, I am in the UK...it'd be a tiny bit difficult to go to my cousins school if I wasn't, lol ;)

All I mean is the U.K. birth announcements are always nicer, classier than the ones in the U.S. (full of babies named Madisyn, Nevaeh, etc.). We don't see many Canadian BA's here anymore, but they're at least slightly better than in the U.S., IIRC. :b

Aaah.Yes this is very true. Sure, they are crazy about using nn's as full names, but at least I am yet to come across a single Madison, Nevaeh, a name with 1000 random y's or even Bailey on either gender! I guess I'll find out ab0out Canda soon enough.
