I dislike it, either spelling.
It's also confusing for most people to pronounce, for some reason. I work with a girl named Shana, pronounced like SHAN-nah. At first, I thought her name was Shannon, until I saw how it was spelled. But everyone at work seems to call her either SHAWN-ah or SHAY-nah, and that's not how her name is pronounced! The name just seems made up and dated to me, anyway. I've never cared for it. (Though I definitely prefer the SHAN-nah pronunciation over SHAY-nah and definitely over SHAWN-ah).
